Truth be told, I was going to leave the shop without purchasing this dress because I had a love-hate relationship with the print. From one angle, the print on this dress seemed like a romantic, dreamy situation but from another, I didn’t quite get it. I eventually put the dress on and by the time I was cinching my waist with the belt, I knew it was going to come home with me to join my growing collection of gowns. Love at first don indeed.

In other news, by the time you’re reading this, I’ll probably be on a beach in Watamu with one of my best friends. I’ve been planning this trip for months and even downloaded a countdown app to help keep track of the days (and my nerves) and I can’t believe it’s now here. It’s going to be my second time over there and I plan on capturing as many magical moments as I possibly can. Feel free to keep up with my little adventure by following me on Instagram.ร‚ย

Lovely weekend!

I see what you mean with the print, from one angle the prints just look large but then again the colours go well together like in that last pic. The fit is awesome, love the flow, perfect for a Saturday afternoon garden wedding. The halter neck shows off the arms and shoulders really well, and I gotta say it makes me think to myself “better keep up with the bicep curls”. The dress works, so rock on!
