This is Essential is a place where women can find guidance on everything womanhood – from navigating careers, to parenting, creating a home, beauty, and everything in between. We’re looking for creative writers who can contribute articles that speak to women and their needs, specifically on the following topics:

• Home Décor;

• Fashion;
• Beauty;
• Travel;
• Relationships;
• Mental Health;
• Physical Health;
• Food;
• Entertainment;
• Career; and
• Finances

• Articles should be between 400 and 800 words.
• Keep the tone of your article(s) light and conversational.
• The article should offer solutions and insights into the topic.
• You can take a personal approach to your writing, but make sure to always tie the experience back to the audience and how it may relate to their lives.
• Each article should be properly researched, with hyperlinks to the original content provided where necessary.
• Finally: please, please, please do not copy or plagiarize work from other sources!

If we like your work, you’ll receive a response from the This is Essential team within two weeks. If you don’t hear from us, don’t stress – you can try again with a different article.
