3 Apps Millennials Are Using To Learn New Skills

By: Essential Team

So you are stuck in a job that has been draining you but you can’t leave because that’s all you know and bills need to get paid… Welcome to adulting!

Millennials are changing that narrative by taking matters into their own hands. Ask yourself questions like when was the last time you learnt a new skill? Or better yet sharpened the skills you have? Many people would second guess their wishes to both the above questions and it’s only because of the assumption that further education or training can be quite an expensive affair, and going into debt for it is not ideal.

So how did I change my mindset? A friend sent me a link to check on some apps that are basically like school, but on your phone and your terms. All you need to do is choose your skill of interest and your trainer – who mostly happen to be the best in the industry. The best news is that these apps are free, with a free subscription you get access to a few free classes but an upgrade will give you more diverse material without having to break the bank.

These apps have the potential to teach you great skills, skills that can have you switching up your careers so don’t sleep on them. It can also be a great resource for starting a side hustle to supplement your income.
