Gone With The Wind

Location: Nakuru

What I wouldn’t give to be back in this field right at this moment riding a quad bike across the endless fields of green while laughing our heads off. Sometimes I wonder whether I was really meant for the city life. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the convenience of being in Nairobi rather than it’s outskirts, but boy would I love to have a week away from it all at least once a month.

It was rather overcast with hints of sun and exceptionally windy on the day we took these pictures – quite ideal for photos given the dreamy, flowing fabric of the dress. There’s nothing like a light, floral dress worn on a lush, green field to make you feel like  you’re the star of a movie. We had so much fun trying to discover this field as it eventually involved hopping onto a quad bike and having a blast on the field! See what I mean by getting away from the city? You couldn’t possibly try and pull that move on Mombasa Road without being assaulted by a heavy cloud of fumes from some big trucks and/or impatient drivers. Basically, you’d be swallowed whole.

Thank you so much for reading and don’t forget to take time away from it all for yourself this weekend!

Love and love.
